Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. Subscription Billing

Rezfiliate subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, unless otherwise specified at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. The applicable fees will be disclosed before you subscribe and may change in accordance with our Terms of Service.

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the applicable subscription period. Except where required by applicable law or expressly provided in this Policy, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the applicable subscription period has begun.

We offer a free subscription plan with limited capabilities. The free plan is subject to this Policy, except that no subscription fees are charged and therefore no monetary refund applies.

Mandatory Rights: Nothing in this Policy excludes, limits, or waives any refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

2. Automatic Renewal and Statutory Cancellation Rights

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will send you a renewal reminder before the renewal date where required by applicable law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. If you are a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights under the laws of your province or territory, including the right to a pro-rated refund for unused subscription time in certain circumstances.

Consumer cancellation, renewal, cooling-off, refund, and disclosure rights vary by jurisdiction and by whether the subscriber is acting as a consumer or business. We will provide any notice, cancellation, refund, or other remedy required by the law applicable to the transaction. This Policy is not intended to summarize every jurisdiction-specific rule.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

You will generally retain access to the Service through the end of the period for which you have already paid. After cancellation, no further recurring subscription fees will be charged, except for amounts that were already incurred or otherwise remain payable under the Terms of Service.

Cancellation Does Not Automatically Create a Refund: Canceling a subscription does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a refund, credit, or reimbursement for unused subscription time, except where required by applicable law or expressly provided in this Policy.

Pro-Rated Refunds Where Required by Law: If applicable law requires us to provide a pro-rated refund or credit for unused subscription time upon cancellation, we will do so. This includes, without limitation, the rights described in Section 2 for consumers in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and other jurisdictions with similar mandatory rules.

4. Refunds, Billing Corrections, and Service Remedies

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Rezfiliate does not generally provide monetary refunds for unused subscription time, accidental purchases, early cancellation, or unused plan features, except where required by applicable law or otherwise provided in this Policy.

Billing Errors: Where Rezfiliate determines that a duplicate charge, material billing error, or other billing error was caused by Rezfiliate, we may correct the issue by issuing a refund, credit, adjustment, or other appropriate remedy.

Service Remedies: In the event of a material service failure or other qualifying service issue, Rezfiliate may, in its discretion, provide a service credit, subscription extension, complimentary subscription period, partial credit, or another non-monetary remedy. Any such remedy is discretionary unless expressly required by an applicable written service-level agreement or applicable law.

Refund Method and Timing: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days. Refunds will include applicable taxes where required by law.

The availability of a service remedy does not create a general right to a monetary refund and does not modify the liability limitations or other remedies provided in the Terms of Service.

To request a refund where you believe one may be required, report a billing error, or raise a service issue, contact us via our contact form. Requests are reviewed in accordance with this Policy, our Terms of Service, and applicable law.

5. Downgrades

A downgrade requested during a billing period will generally take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle, unless otherwise stated at the time of the downgrade or required by applicable law. Until the downgrade takes effect, you will generally retain access to the features included in your existing plan.

Plan Limits After Downgrade: Once the downgrade becomes effective, features, usage limits, affiliate limits, analytics capabilities, and other functionality associated with the previous plan may become unavailable.

Historical Data and Feature Access: A lower-tier plan may restrict access to certain historical data, analytics, tracking information, or other features that are not included in the lower-tier plan. We may retain such information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements, but we do not guarantee continued access to historical data or features that are not included in your current plan.

We recommend exporting information you require for your own business, accounting, compliance, or recordkeeping purposes before downgrading.

6. Affiliate Commissions and Merchant-Customer Refunds

Cancellation or termination of a Merchant's Rezfiliate subscription does not, by itself, eliminate valid Affiliate commissions that accrued before cancellation or termination. Subject to the applicable Affiliate Agreement and applicable law, such commissions remain the Merchant's responsibility.

Merchant Responsibility Summary: To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Merchant remains responsible for validly accrued Affiliate commissions and for amounts Rezfiliate cannot recover from an Affiliate, as further described in the Terms of Service and the applicable Affiliate Agreement.

Merchant-Customer Refunds: A refund, cancellation, chargeback, dispute, or other adjustment involving a Merchant's customer may result in the associated Affiliate commission being reversed or adjusted in accordance with the applicable Affiliate program terms.

Rezfiliate may attempt to recover the corresponding commission from the Affiliate through available Stripe Connect functionality, including reversal of an applicable transfer where supported. External account debits are disabled for Affiliate connected accounts, so recovery is limited to amounts available in the Affiliate's Stripe Express connected account and, to the extent supported by Stripe, future funds credited to that account. Rezfiliate does not intend to debit an Affiliate's external bank account, card, or other external payment method to recover such amounts.

Recovery Before Commission-Related Merchant Refund: Where Rezfiliate has recorded a Merchant-customer refund or other adjustment that requires recovery of a previously paid Affiliate commission, any corresponding payment to the Merchant that depends upon that recovery may remain pending until the applicable Affiliate funds have been successfully recovered or the applicable transfer reversal has otherwise been completed. Because external account debits are disabled, this may require waiting until the Affiliate's Stripe Express account has sufficient available funds, and Rezfiliate does not guarantee when or whether that will occur.

The refund, recovery attempt, reversal, or outstanding amount may remain recorded in Rezfiliate's systems while recovery is pending. A recorded refund or recovery event does not, by itself, mean that funds have been successfully recovered or that a payment to the Merchant has been completed.

No Guaranteed Affiliate Recovery: Rezfiliate does not guarantee that an Affiliate transfer reversal, balance debit, future-funds recovery, or other recovery attempt will succeed. External account debits are disabled, so recovery generally depends on the Affiliate's available or future Stripe Express balance and Stripe's applicable rules and account configuration. If the Affiliate never has sufficient funds, Rezfiliate may be unable to recover the amount, and the amount may remain outstanding or recorded as an unresolved financial event. The availability and outcome of recovery mechanisms may depend on Stripe, the applicable connected-account configuration, available funds, payment rules, and applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Merchant remains responsible for amounts properly allocated to the Merchant under the Terms of Service and applicable Affiliate Agreement, including amounts that Rezfiliate is unable to recover from an Affiliate.

7. Failed Payment and Commission Funding

If a subscription payment or other authorized payment fails, Rezfiliate may retry the payment, notify you of the failed payment, request that you update your payment method, suspend affected functionality, or take other actions permitted under the Terms of Service.

Affiliate commission funding is governed primarily by Section 4 of the Terms of Service. If a Merchant payment method fails to fund amounts properly due for Affiliate commissions and the issue remains unresolved, the applicable affiliate program may be suspended and the Merchant account may ultimately be terminated.

Suspension or termination does not eliminate valid payment obligations that accrued before the suspension or termination.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a subscription charge or other payment is incorrect, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, correct the issue.

Initiating a chargeback may result in suspension or restriction of your account or affected functionality while the payment dispute is investigated and resolved.

Exercise of Statutory Rights: Nothing in this Section limits your right to contact your bank or payment provider, or to exercise any statutory right you may have. We will not suspend your account solely because you exercised a statutory right.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is resolved in Rezfiliate's favor, we may seek recovery of amounts properly owed by you, including amounts permitted under applicable law and applicable payment processor rules.

Nothing in this Section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection or other mandatory law.

9. Unused Subscription Time and Plan Benefits

Except where required by applicable law, unused subscription time, unused features, unused affiliate capacity, unused referral capacity, unused payout capacity, unused credits, or other unused plan benefits do not create a cash refund or other monetary entitlement.

Rezfiliate does not guarantee that features, integrations, usage limits, or plan benefits will remain identical throughout a subscription period. Changes to the Service are governed by the Terms of Service and applicable law.

10. Relationship to the Terms of Service

This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of and is incorporated into the Rezfiliate Terms of Service.

If a provision of this Policy conflicts with a provision of the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will control unless this Policy expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.

Nothing in this Policy modifies the limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, dispute-resolution provisions, or other contractual protections contained in the Terms of Service except where expressly stated or required by applicable law.

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will generally be communicated through reasonable advance notice by email, through the Service, or by posting the updated Policy.
